We support trans and non binary people, across Cheshire, that have been affected by domestic abuse.

We also offer professional training in trans and non binary domestic abuse practice, as well as bespoke programmes for domestic abuse recovery.

It’s been amazing to meet someone with the sparkle of happiness and true understanding of being trans.

What is domestic abuse?

The UK Domestic Abuse Act of 2021 defines domestic abuse as:

“Any incident or pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive or threatening behaviour, violence, or abuse between those aged 16 or over who are or have been intimate partners or family members regardless of gender or sexuality”.

As a by and for service we understand the unique needs and challenges faced by the trans & non-binary communities

  • Have you been hurt by someone who should love and accept you, for simply wanting to be yourself?

  • Maybe they threatened to out you?

  • Deadnamed you?

  • Isolated you from people who care for you?

Does any of this sound familiar? Or maybe there’s something else you’d like to talk about?

We’re here for you when you’re ready to reach out.

I felt heard and understood and my perception of things validated.
